learning photography is an interesting and rewarding thing

With the evolution of digital photography and mobile devices, the camera has become a ubiquitous device. Its omnipresence seems to have brought photography further to the forefront, increasing its popularity as a democratic art. And with that, the quest to learn photography - to get a better frame, also seems to increase. As a photographer, you probably take pictures to remember a place, to present a point of view, to capture a moment in time or simply as a creative pursuit. But as a photographer reading this blog on FotoTV, you are probably an amateur to a semi professional photographer looking to learn a bit more from expert photographers.

Whatever it is that motivates you, the possibilities to learn about photography are endless. There are innumerable blogs, websites, magazines, newsletters and DVDs in addition to online forums that offer news, views and reviews that vie with one another for a photographer’s attention.

However, videos on the internet have changed that landscape in more ways than one can imagine. They offer photographers a new media to learn from - a media that also serves as a welcome change from the volumes of digital and printed text! The increasing number of videos interspersed between digital texts in most websites, is a proof of their effectiveness and popularity.
