Hello,

Nobuyoshi Araki, the well-known Japanese photographer, once said that a good photograph was wet at one point. Today, there is little apparent quality difference between an analog and a digital print, but for some, the inkjet print will never be able to compete with the craftsmanship and the long-lasting value of a handmade, silver-gelatin print.

Be that as it may, to blindly ignore digital photography would be a mistake, because it offers new creative and exiting possibilities. On the other hand, rushing ahead and leaving traditional photography behind altogether is a similar blunder. The experienced photographer is aware that only the combination of analog and digital photography provides the best of both worlds and presents possibilities, not available with either system alone.
