How do I activate cookies in Firefox on a PC?

In the upper right of the menu bar, choose "Tools" and then "Options" from the drop down menu. In the pop up window, choose the "Privacy" tab. You will now see the options for Cookies on the right side. Click the option, "Accept Cookies from sites". Finally, click "OK". Close and restart the program. You have just activated the Cookies.
