Jean-Christian Bourcart is a French photographer. Since 1997 he lives in New York. He started as a wedding photographer, at the same time he began to work on independent artwork.

In 1992 he received a lot of attention for his work "Infertile Madonnas" that was about brothels in Frankfurt. With following projects like "Forbidden City" on swingers and SM clubs, "Traffic" about New Yorkers in traffic jams or "Collateral" about the victims of the Iraq war, he built his style even further.
