Photographer Raghu Rai from India originally worked for the Government as a civil engineer. In 1965 he decided to follow the example of his elder brother and step into photography.
One year later his career began when he worked with Indian magazine "The Statesman". In 1984 Rai attained special recognition for his photos of the Bhopal gas tragedy.
In our FotoTV. Interview he talks about his attitude to photography and photojournalism that determined his commercial career. He also talks about his personal projects in which the workaday life takes a high priority. And of course the interview is about his home India, to which he has devoted 50 years of photography.
