Summary:

In a conventional camera, the incident light becomes converted into an electronic signal, the resulting image becomes finally calculated. Sharpness and focus point are already predetermined. The Lytro camera measures the light direction and generates an image file in which sharpness and focus can also be changed later.

In our photokinaTV interview founder Ren Ng explains the Lytro technology and it's features.
