Summary
Ziv Koren is a israeli photojournalist who began his career as photographer in the israeli army. Later he decided to show the israel's conflict with the palestinians in pictures. His photographs are showing the people's life on the front line in the Middle East. It often can be very dangerous for him to take those extraordinary pictures. With those works Ziv Koren has won numreous photographic awards. His pictures have been published in a lot international publications, such as Time Magazine, The Sunday Times Magazine, Newsweek, Stern and Paris Match.
We have met Ziv Koren in Berlin at his exhibition 'More than 1000 words - no win situation in the israeli palestinian conflict'.

I'm glad we have courageous photographers like Koren who make conflicts transparent. "The real world today is not what happens in the field, it's what happens in public opinion." - I guess he is correct and I believe in many ways this is actually good. It's just our duty to pay attention to the reports of people like Koren and help building up the necessary pressure for political solutions.
